BREAKING NEWS: Mike Gravel in the Hospital
We have learned that former Alaskan Senator Mike Gravel is being tended too at a Veterans Hospital here in New Hampshire. Elliott Jacobson the press contact for the Gravel Campaign has confirmed that Gravel is being evaluated for possible bronchitis. Jacobson told us that he is being evaluated and todays primary plans are questionable. Jacobson believes that it comes from being overworked on the campaign trail. Gravel is 77 years old, and is a democratic candidate, his latets polling numbers in New Hampshire according to a Franklin Pierce/WBZ poll are beyond low at 0%.

Mike Gravel has once again put the needs of the American people above his own, keeping a full campaign schedule even while he is sick. It breaks my heart to see him working so hard only to be shunned by the media. Btw, poll numbers don't mean anything to me. These polls are taken by calling landline telephones-- I use a cellphone and have never been asked to take a poll. I imagine the same is true for a lot of Gravel supporters. Gravel for President!
Mike Gravel is the most honest, selfless, passionate human being in this election. I have no doubt he'd work himself to death if it meant ending the Iraq war, or passing the National Initiative. If only people could see through the lip service, flag waving, and fear mongering of the other candidates, they would see a true patriot in Mike.

Tim Russert: "Are you saying, Senator Gravel, that these candidates should return to Washington in the middle of their campaigns to try to end the war?"
Mike Gravel: "If it ends the killing, then my God, YES!"
Godspeed Mike, I contributed again today and I'm not giving up on you or America.
I'm late on this, but shawn is dead on: "Mike Gravel is the most honest, selfless, passionate" politician in this election... or any election.
When I met him, I was amazed at both his kindness and strength. He took time to meet everybody that showed up and genuinely thanked them for their support. I'm glad I got the opportunity to tell him that I am behind him 100%.
I don't care about polls or who's ahead. He's got my vote. He's worked so hard and been treated so poorly by the media. Make you wonder, doesn't it?
