Hunter Statement on Columbia University Invited Speaker

Congressman Duncan Hunterissued astatement this morning from Mackinac Island directed to Columbia University.

"To host the leader of Iran when he supports terrorists that are movingdeadly roadside bombs across the Iraqi border to be used againstAmericantroops is a slap in the face for the entire 165,000 men and women inIraqand to those that have served before them," said Hunter. "If President Lee Bollinger follows through with this hosting of theleaderof Iran, I will move in Congress to cut off every single type ofFederalFunding to Columbia University. If the left-wing leaders of academiawillnot support our troops, they, in the very least, should not support ouradversaries."

"This event, following the slanderous action of MoveOn.org, depictingGeneral Petraeus as "General Betray Us," in the New York Timesrepresentsthe emergence of the extreme left-wing in American politics." Concluding, "I think it is time for the Democrat party to denouncethisfringe element in their party," said Hunter.

Republican McCain, Republican Rudy versus Democratic Clinton!

Moveon.Org is bashed by McCain and Rudy, following the organizations bashing of General David Petraeus. this radical left-wing organization ambushed General Petraeus, attacking his integrity. Hillary Clinton followed up with her own remarks of Petraeus, by telling the General that his testimony required "the willing suspension of disbelief."

Arizona Senator John McCain recently fired back to a comment in which she talked about General David Petraeus. McCain said, "If you're not tough enough to repudiate a scurrilous, outrageous attack such as that, then I don't know how you're tough enough to be President of the United States." McCain layed a bold statement with this and said he was prepared to be Commander-in-Chief.

Now getting in on the Hillary bashing is Rudy Giuliani. Team Rudy has called for Hillary Clinton to Appologize. Today Team Rudy, released a web ad, "She Changed" This ad calls on Senator Clinton to apologize for her remarks and repudiate MoveOn.org's ad. The Ad can be found on the Giuliani Website. Rudy also used mainstream media today to clash with Hillary. Giuliani ran his own ad today in the New York Times. In the Ad, Rudy told MoveOn.org that there is no place in American politics for these kinds of attacks.
